Orientation

NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION

New Student Orientation is a mandatory program for students only (no parents!) which will ease you into college life here at Mines.  This three-day program will help you to become acquainted with the Mines campus and community.

New Student Orientation will be held on August 21-23, 2010.  (There is no registration, all students are expected to attend.)

PARENT ORIENTATION

Parent Orientation is a one-day orientation program for parents only (no students!) that will help you to become more familiar with Mines, offer valuable information, and also assist you in transitioning your student to college life.

During Orientation you will meet with faculty members and returning students, learn about the various programs offered by the college, and obtain information on valuable resources.  The faculty, staff, and student orientation leaders will be available and make every effort to answer your questions and familiarize you with the campus.

The 2010 Parent Orientation sessions will be held on:

• Friday, June 25, 2010
• Friday, July 16, 2010
• Monday, July 19, 2010
• Friday, August 20, 2010

Registration will be required to attend Parent Orientation sessions.  (Registration and more information will be available in the spring.)
